The Item Search function is very helpful for many purposes. It can be used to see additional info about a product, and can even be used to locate an item.
To start simply touch the Item Search button. 
A blank search results screen will now appear. You can either scan an item and select it in the menu for more options or you may press the search icon located in the upper right corner.
Doing so will bring up a search query. The top field in the form is where you will type in the key terms for your search. The second field is the type of search you wish to perform in the form of a pull-down menu.
Each search type has its own purpose, learning the differences can make your searches quicker and more effective.
