Improvements
Curbside preorder items no longer look ready before their release date — A preorder item scanned out ahead of its release date now gets a packing slip flagged "NEW RELEASE — hold until mm/dd/yy." The "Ready for Pickup" email and the order-status page both wait until the release date has arrived, instead of firing immediately.
Webstore tip adjustments no longer double-report to accounting — A tip changed on an order after it was scanned out was posting an extra standalone accounting line on top of the tip already distributed across the order's items, double-counting the tip. Now it only posts once, and only for tip changes made after scan-out.
Fixed New Marketplace reading scale weights 10x high — New Marketplace was decoding every postage scale as if it were one specific brand's format, so a parcel that actually weighed 3.95 lb could read as 39 lb 8 oz. The fix reads each scale's own reported unit instead of assuming one format, and a scale it can't decode now reports a clear error instead of a silent wrong number.
New Marketplace mail-class edge cases fixed — When a scanned package was too heavy for its pre-assigned mail class, New Marketplace could leave the mail class and carrier fields blank and lock the screen. It now automatically switches to the next valid class, matching how legacy Marketplace already behaved, while still letting a clerk override manually.
Customer BOPIS order splitting and notification splitting now opt-in — A recent change was was put in place with a setting that allowed multiple BOPIS orders for the same customer to remain split in Marketplace Mode. This caused confusion with merged customer notifications on other multiple BOPIS email notifications. The setting that allowed the Marketplace Mode change is now also honored by the customer alerts system.
Guard added to BOPIS Autoship processing — Some evidence existed of Pick-Up-In Store showing up as Autoship in Marketplace Center despite a setting being false and the order only being a single shipment. This has been rectified and will be guarded against across future orders.
