Splashtop Streamer is used by FieldStack support to aid with the troubleshooting of devices and the FieldStack software.
To install Splashtop Streamer, first open a browser on your Janam device and tap on the web address bar.
Scan the following QR code with the device and it should bring you to our download page for Splashtop.
Once at this page, zoom in if necessary and select Android_streamer.apk
After selecting the installer you will be met with a few screens asking for storage access and advising that the file may be harmful. This warning is displayed because we are downloading an app outside of the normal Play Store. The Streamer file is an official download from Splashtop and should not be harmful. Press Continue, Allow, and Download Anyway as needed until the download starts.
After the download completes you should see a field on the bottom of the screen to open the APK file. Click Open.
If this field doesn't show up, you can also find the file in the downloads app on your device.
After opening the file you may be prompted again, saying that the file is an unknown app and your settings don't allow it to be installed. Click Settings in this window and then make sure that the Allow from this source setting is turned on in the page that it directs you to.
After setting this, you should be brought to a window asking you if you would like to install the Streamer application. Click Install. After a minute or so, the installation should complete. Click Open when prompted and you will be brought to the final setup screen.
This screen will ask you for a deploy code that FieldStack uses to classify your device under the proper company. Contact a member of FieldStack support at support@fieldstack.com for your company's deployment code.
