Modified on Wed, 6 Dec, 2023 at 2:19 PM

Setting up a Zebra printer in FieldStack takes just a few minutes.

First, ensure that the Zebra printer is connected to the POS computer, and the drivers are installed (on fieldstack-supplied POS device, zebra drivers should be installed by default.

1. Go to Settings in the upper left corner

2. Click the Enterprise tab.
3. Under the Label Settings menu, set the first 4 settings:
  •  Is the label printer Zebra or ZPL compatible - set to TRUE
  • Label queue printer enabled - set to TRUE
  • Price Label Queue - Zero by default but if other POS machines in your location have their own printers and Zero and other numbers are taken, this machine should have the next subsequent number
  • Price label sheet size - For Zebra label printers this should be 1
(Setting the Label Sheet Size to will make sure that every label is printed automatically. You could set this to 2 or 5 or 10, etc, to only push labels out in groups if you wanted to.)
  • Use Custom... - set to TRUE

Click Save Changes

Log back into FieldStack, and go back to the Settings screen. On the Basic tab, a new option appears at the bottom for "Label Printer Name". Select the correct Zebra printer from the list of available devices, and click "Save Changes" again.
