Top 200 Products

The Top 200 Products dashboard is a tool to show you the top selling products, ranked by quantity sold. This report will be especially useful for the buying team to understand how products are shifting in and out of the most favored list - and allow the team to react to the shifts. Two date periods can be compared for ranking, rank change and quantity sold. The dashboard can be filtered to specific product categories among other characteristics.

Once the dashboard is filtered, the report will reflect the top 200 products in ranked order, based on the quantity sold in the Review Date period. You are able to re-sort the table by any of the metric column - use the arrow in the headers to sort by each column. You will see the ranking for both the Review Date period and the Comp Date period - the comp metrics reflect the rating of the product in the selected date range, so you could see ratings beyond the top 200 here. Be sure to consider the Sale Type filter, where you can specify different sale transaction types.

The first chart is a pivot table for the top 200 products, as filtered. Next to that is a bar chart showing the top 20 products with a visual scale of ratings for each date period - here you will see how the ratings compare for your top 20 selling products and quickly notice any that have made large shifts in ratings.

The next chart will show the same top 20 products, this time with a comparison of quantity sold. Again, you can quickly see the products that have experienced a significant shift between the date ranges.

The final table will allow you to add or remove descriptive fields, so you can expand or reduce the list as needed for your analysis. To add or remove fields, right click in the header area and you will be prompted:

Any of the data tables can be exported to work with the data outside the dashboard. Do this by clicking on the 3 dots at the top right corner of the widget, choose Download and export an image or file.  The recommended file type for a spreadsheet is CSV.
