FieldStack’s “Customer Marketplace Orders Screen” allows you to look up and manage a customer’s online order history. This article will outline the features of the Customer Marketplace Orders Screen and how to navigate them.

How to Access a Customer’s Marketplace Order History:

First, you’ll need to find the customer using FieldStack’s “Find Customer” feature.

The “Find Customer” tool is located on FieldStack’s “Search” tab in the “Search Customers” section:

Clicking the “Find Customer” button will open the basic customer search:

  • If you already have a unique identifier for the customer, you can enter it into the search.
  • If you don’t already have a unique identifier, click the “Advanced” button for more fields to help you find the customer:

After you’ve found the customer you’re looking for, click the “Marketplace Orders” button to pull up their Webstore order history on the “Customer Marketplace Orders Screen".

You can also access a customer’s Marketplace Order history using FieldStack’s Marketplace Center tool.

The Marketplace Center Order Details Overview Article explains how to access the

Customer Marketplace Orders Screen.

Customer Marketplace Orders Screen:

By default, the “Customer Marketplace Orders Screen" will display the customer’s most recent Marketplace Order in the specified date range when opened.  If no order information appears on the screen, it means the customer hasn’t placed an order within the currently specified date range.

The Customer Marketplace Orders Screen can be broken down into 4 major parts, as shown in the diagram below:

  • Order Information: This section displays the currently selected order’s information – information like the day the order was placed, and the shipping and billing address associated with the order.
  • Navigation: This section allows you to navigate between a customer’s marketplace orders and make alterations. Below is a brief overview of the options.
    • Navigating Between Orders: use the arrows buttons on the far right-hand side to move between the customer’s past orders.
      • Using the single arrows will move you one order forwards or backwards.
      • Using the double arrows will move you to either the first or last order in the specified date range.
      • The text between arrows shows which of the orders you are currently viewing/editing.
        • The customer’s orders are presented in chronological order, starting with their most recent Marketplace Order and ending with their oldest Marketplace Order within the specified date range.
          • So, for example, “Order 1 of 7” means that:
            • You’re viewing the customer’s most recent Marketplace Order.
            • The customer has placed 7 Marketplace Orders in the specified date range.
    • View/Edit Fulfillment Information: pressing this button will open the current order in the “Marketplace Center”, where you have the ability to change the order’s shipping address, manage any shipping issues, retrieve the package’s tracking number, etc.
      • More information on the Customer Service options available to you in FieldStack’s Marketplace Center can be found in this article.
    • Edit Customer Information, Points, or Credit: pressing this button will pull up the “Customer Edit” screen where you can change the customer’s basic information:
      • More information on the “Customer Edit” screen can be found in this article.
  • Re-Activate: pressing this button will retry processing the current order’s payment method.
    • This function is helpful for declined orders.  More information on using the "Re-Activate" function can be found in this article.
  • View Payment History: pressing this button pulls up the payment information for the current order, within a specific date range.
  • Order Details: This section displays the currently selected order’s details   details like the items in this order.
  • Date Selection: This section allows you to determine how far back in a customer’s Marketplace Order History you’d like to look.
    • Specify the furthest back you’d like to look using the “Search Orders Since” dropdown menu.
    • Press “Refresh” after selecting a new date to view the customer’s Marketplace Order History within the new timeframe.
