Common Marketplace Order Statuses

You can use FieldStack’s Marketplace Center to lookup and perform customer service on Marketplace Orders.  While navigating the Marketplace Center, it will be helpful to understand orders’ Order Statuses.  This article will cover some of the more common Order Statuses and what they represent.

A Marketplace Order’s status is visible in Marketplace Center search results in the final column of the order’s list of items, “Item Status”:


You also have the option to search for Marketplace Orders by their Order Status:

Common Order Statuses


Pending Batch:  The order is queued to be in an upcoming Picking Batch.  More information on Picking Batches can be found in this article.


In Batch: The order is currently in a Picking Batch.  More information on Picking Batches can be found in this article.


Packaged: The item or order is a part of a Picking Batch, and has been scanned in and packaged.


Shipped: The order has been shipped.


Ready for Pickup: The order is a curbside order, and is ready to be picked up by the customer.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted salmon.


To Be Repicked: The order was part of a Picking Batch, but did not get scanned out before the batch was closed.  The order is now queued to be included in the next picking batch.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted orange.


Missing Tracking Id: A logistical error has occurred in shipping for this order.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted a shade of red.


Cancelled: The order has been cancelled.


Out of Stock: There is no stock for the item(s) in this order.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted a shade of red.

  • If a suitable replacement for an out of stock item is found, you can swap it with the out of stock item using the steps found in this article.
  • More information on handling out of stock items can be found in this article.


Bad Address: The address associated with this order failed an address verification check.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted a shade of red.

  • Addresses are checked as an order is processed.  If an order’s address fails a check, additional address validation will be required.  More information on how to verify an order’s address can be found in this article.


Risk: This order has been flagged for potential fraud.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted a shade of red.

  • Orders with this status are placed on hold.
  • If the order is found to be valid, simply select the specific store you wish the order to go to, or select a negative store number to have FieldStack automatically allocate the order.

Charge Error: An error has occurred in the payment for this order.  Item rows with this status will be highlighted a shade of red.


Reprocessing Payment Using Customer Order History:

  • You may reprocess the order's payment by using the “Order Details” tab to access the customer’s “Order History”: 
  • In their Order History, click the “Re-Activate” button to reprocess the payment.

Reprocessing Payment Using Payment History:

  • It is also possible to reprocess an order's payment using the "Re-Activate" button in the "Payment History" tab of Order Details:
