Adjusting Shipping Settings

Modified on Sun, 17 Oct, 2021 at 2:42 PM

Shipping and carrier settings can be adjusted through the Shipping Settings button under the Marketplaces tab. Within this, the Company Level tab allows you to apply company level settings and defaults.

These buttons (shown below) allow you to either:

    1.) Expand the entire tree

    2.) Condense the entire tree

3.) Refresh the options from the Database

The 'Show Active' button will highlight all the carriers and classes that are Web Active or Fulfillment Active. Inactive carriers/classes will be grayed out.

Account - This holds all the account credentials for the package carrier. Holding the eye icon to the right of the field allows you to see passwords.

Carrier Settings - This is where you can update settings related to a mail class. You will be unable to turn Active Fulfillment/Active Web on if the parent Package Carrier is turned off for that setting. For example: Deferred Active Fulfillment is off, therefore Deferred Postage Active Fulfillment cannot be turned on. The same is true for the inverse, you are unable to turn off one of these settings if it has any child Mail Classes that are currently Active for that setting. Example images below

Return Address - This is the address that will print out on labels.

Shipping Address - This is the address that represents the physical shipping address and will be used to calculate postage and shipping rates.

The credentials and addresses you apply in the company settings will become the default options for the Store Level settings. When viewing the Store Level, these are what will populate when the Use Company Default/Return Address boxes are selected

Curbside Pickup and Same Day Delivery

Curbside Pickup and Same Day Delivery can be adjusted on a company as well as a store level. Curbside pickup settings will look the same as below, without the "Max Distance Miles" which allows you to set the maximum distance from the store that same day delivery is still eligible.

Both Curbside and Same Day allow you to set cutoff times and select days for availability.

This is adjustable on the Store Level as well, which is shown below.

Same Day Delivery Zip Codes

Same Day/Local Delivery Zip Codes can be managed and the company level.   Zip codes can be added, assigned to stores, order of allocation and Active/Non-Active set.  Dragging the Excel icon onto the grid exports all Zip Codes and Stores.

At the store level, Zip Codes can only be enabled or disabled.  All enabled zip codes are shown in the grid, while disabled ones are shown in the drop down list.

Carrier API Settings

Some carriers (such as FedEx) have API services to automatically generate new credentials. When Generating New Credentials, the fields will auto-populate with the information from the Ship From Address. Once all the necessary fields are filled in, you will be able to Register. Once completed, the updated credentials will be auto-populated moving forward.

Once your addresses are set, carriers with the "Test Config" button will require a test of the new configuration in order to be saved.
