LOGGING IN

Before logging in with the scanner, make sure that your name appears as being logged in on the FieldStack POS device. Actions done on the scanner will associate with the user logged in at the time.

To log into FS Mobile, click the company name in the lower left of the screen.

A login pop-up will appear.

The first time you log in on a device you should make sure that your handheld is connected to - representing - a FieldStack device. Tap Choose a Device or click the large tile that shows the device and store info.

Select the device you are representing. This could be a POS computer, but in a location with many handheld devices, choose the device itself from the list.

If your device will trigger any label printing, select a Print As device that is enabled in the location label queue.

Choosing the device:

NOTE: Upon login, the Mobile Device will mirror the Machine Settings of the device selected in the Choose a Device login pop-up. If any devices vary within a location, choosing a commonly unused device can cause functionality to be missing.

Once you have chosen the correct device to associate with, aim your handheld at the QR code and press the trigger to scan. If using the FieldStack Mobile features on a desktop, laptop, or tablet - as opposed to a separate handheld - click the Open button below the QR code to open the app in a web browser on your computer.

The system will authenticate your login, and open the online application that is associated with your store location.

On the navigation bar, tap the App Download icon to install FS Mobile to the devices app menu. This will allow you to use it with the navigation bar suppressed and will save screen space. This is recommended on handheld devices but is not required to use the application.

The QR Scanner Login box can be closed. You can log out of FieldStack on the POS device you logged into and utilize the mobile device to process items.

Transaction records in the system will be assigned to the user that is logged in when the scanner was logged into. Transactions will show in history assigned to the device that the handheld was paired with.

Logging Out of FieldStack Mobile

When you are finished using the handheld device, tap on the Logout button at the bottom of the menu screen. This will return to a blank login in screen and ensure that no additional activity can be done on the handheld while logged in under your username.
