If you have items that are sold by weight there are some special product setup steps.
FieldStack handles items sold by weight in decimals, not ounces, so your scales need to be configure to display in tenths/hundredths of a pounds.
The item in FieldStack needs special setup
- List Price - The Price for 1/100th of a pound
- Cost Price - The cost for 1/100th of a pound
- Force Price - The Price per pound
- Extended Category - Bulk (lbs)
Please Note that the item edit screen can not support fractional cents. These item should only be edited via the Bulk Editor or by a FieldStack employee.
Handling inventory on these items is stored at the 1/100lb level. So when receiving in 15lbs of product, you'll want to receive in 1500 units.
