FS Mobile: Marketplace Picks

Modified on Mon, 04 Dec 2023 at 01:17 PM

Using the Marketplace Pick feature on FieldStack Mobile is the equivalent of having a paper list to aid in the collection of items. Whatever is scanned on the mobile device will be staged on the marketplace screen when you bring your picklist up to complete it.

When finishing your batch, the package details will pop up in the postage select window for each order allowing you to physically gather items, weigh them as necessary, and save the shipment info. Labels will print in one batch.

CREATING YOUR BATCH

Before using the mobile device, you will need to activate a new batch on the POS.

  1. Click the red icon at the top of the screen for priority orders or go to Marketplace Mode
  2. Click on Current Orders
  3. Click on Create New Picking Batch

    10. A confirmation box will pop up. Tap OK to confirm the item to your staged list.

Note: If you need to edit the quantity being picked, use the pencil next to Quantity Picked before or after you scan your item. Tap Process to commit the pick.

You can edit the quantity as needed and it will affect the quantity that goes to your staged list. If you cannot find an item and would normally decide to change the quantity picked to zero, simply click the forward arrow to skip it. More on this below.

FINISHING YOUR BATCH ON THE POS

  1. Return to Marketplace Mode on the POS
  2. Tap Current Orders
  3. On your batch tap the Select icon
Note: If you get an alert that the Batch is locked by the handheld device, get an administrator to alter the “Picking Batch Lock Hours” setting for your location.

Once the batch is selected, all the items you located will be pre-scanned on the marketplace screen. Any skipped items or items that were not fully picked will remain in the right item pane in the scanning area. If you know these items will not be found (and it is okay with management) you can right click to copy the UPC, open a new tab at the bottom of the screen, and send the item out of inventory in send mode. Otherwise they should remain in the right pane and left on the batch list or sent to a new batch when finishing the batch - depending on your location's process.

    6. Review the first item list. Physically group your items based on the item list in the bottom pane. Weigh your order or select shipping if necessary. Click Save and Continue to save that shipping information and toggle to the next order. Click Save and Continue on each shipment as you review and group the items.

    7. After you have clicked Save and Continue on the last package, you may get a pop up like the one below. If you had items you didn’t find in full, or items you skipped, you can click on Push to New Batch and they will go to a future batch. If you have sent the items out of inventory, they may be pushed to another location. If no location has the item or it was a curbside/BOPIS order, it will push the order to the office or customer service. Choosing Close Batch will assume the items are not pickable at all an they will be removed from pick batches and will need to be attended to by your online order/special order/customer service team.
