In Promotion Management, highlight a promotion and click “Add Items.” This will open a separate window to add or search for items.
You can search for many specific items at once using multiple UPCs in the UPC List field. For a more general search, use the QuickSearch field. Click “Search” to see the items in the upper grid. If the currently selected item is already in another promotion, it will show in the bottom grid.

To add an item to the promotion, right click and choose "Add to Promotion" (you can select multiple items at once).

Another window will open for you to finalize the item details, including start and end date, sale price, and the stores (these will apply to all items being added at a time).

| Or name of new promotion | Field to create a new promotion from this screen if you'd like (optional) |
| From [START DATE] for [DAYS] until [END DATE] | The date range the promotion will apply to the items. Choose a start date and either fill out the number of days after or the end date. |
| Set Sale Price | Used only for sale price promotions to sell items at a different price. Check to set the type and amount of discount (don't check for any other promotion). |
| $ Off Shelf Price / % Off Shelf Price | Only used for sale price promotions, required if Set Sale Price is checked |
| Store | The store(s) the Promotion will be active for |
| Position | Where the items will be placed in the store, or to identify the specific promotion. For BOGO promotions, required to be BOGO Buy / BOGO Get |
| Reason | Any other information necessary to notate on that particular item |
| Popup Message | A message that appears on the POS screen when the item is scanned. Can be Used for value added giveaways, for example "Free Poster with Purchase" Note: This message will apply to all the items being added. |
Once you have filled out these details, click "Add to Promotion" in the bottom right corner. This will add the items and return you to the previous window, where you can add more items. Close this window to return to Promotion Management.
