Promotions can be used for basic Sale Price sales when the specific items are known.
Example Sale Price Promotions include:
- An item is on sale for $5
- An item is on sale for 50% off
- An item is on sale for $10 off
For sale price discounts with any additional criteria, coupons are used instead.
Setup
Create a new promotion and add the items using the Sale Price options.
Example: add an item to be 75% off
Field | Description |
Set Sale Price Checkbox | Check this to use the sale price options |
Amount | The discount amount (fixed sale price, percentage, or dollars off) |
Sale Price / Dollars Off / Percentage Off | The type of discount |
The item's Sale Price will be calculated when it's added to the promotion. The sale price can be changed any time by editing the promotion.
Example: items added to the promotion with a sale price 75% off
