How to Add Items to a Coupon

To add items to a coupon, edit the coupon and go to the Items Section.

Choose the quantity of Buy / Get items (the applicable quantity fields change depending on the type of coupon). 

Click the "Add Items" button for either Buy or Get items. This will open a separate window to add or search for items. 

You can add items by UPC or by Attribute.  

• For short lists of items that aren't going to change, add the items by UPC.
• For long lists of items, or if the items may change, add the items by attribute.  

Add Items by UPC

In the item tab, you can search for multiple items at once by putting the UPCs in the UPC List field. For a more general search, use the Quick Search field. Click “Search” and select the item(s) to add. Click "Done" to add the items to the coupon.

For the changes to apply, you will need to save the coupon settings. You can add more items at any time by editing the coupon.

Add Items by Attribute

Adding an attribute rule to the coupon will include any items having the attribute. Item attributes are searchable and can be managed in bulk outside of coupon setup.

In the attribute tab, click "Add Rule." A coupon can have several rules, and a rule can have several attributes.

Click "Add Attribute" and select the attribute type and value from the list. Click "Save" to add the attribute to the rule.

From here, you can add another attribute to the same rule. Multiple attributes in the same rule are dependent (all have to be true for the coupon to apply).

Click "Save" to close the rule details. From here, you can add another rule to add more criteria.

Click "Done" to return to the rest of the coupon settings. For the changes to apply, you will need to save the coupon settings. You can add more items by attribute any time by editing the coupon. 

Edit or Remove Items in a Coupon

You can add more items, edit existing attribute rules, and remove items or attribute rules by editing the coupon. In the item section, click the Edit icon next to the item or rule. Deselect the item or click the Delete icon for attributes. Click "Done" to return to coupon settings.

For the changes to apply, you will need to save the coupon settings.
