While receiving and sending product is maintained from within a store or warehouse, viewing and monitoring inventory levels can be done from within FieldStack in a number of ways.
Item List
While viewing a list of items in the office item list, inventory can be seen in a number of places.
Look up your item list using the search box located at the top of the application, or Find Item (Advanced) or Find Item (Attributes).
Chain On Hand
In the resulting item list, a column called QoH shows the total quantity on hand for all the locations in the store group as selected at the bottom of the application.
Pro Tip: Right click at the base of any column with numerical data and you will see a dropdown that allows you to Sum or Average the data in your column.
Location on Hand
Beneath the item list you will see a tab called QoH. This shows the location list for the selected store group, and each locations QoH. Note that if you see a number followed by a number in parentheses this respresents In Stock (Available). In the highlighted example below there are two units in stock of the item and one unit available. This means that one is an arrived special order, a hold, or the item is on a marketplace pick or location-to-location pick.
These numbers cannot be changed from this screen. Any changes must be done using Receive or Send mode from within the location whose inventory needs to be updated.
Item Perpetual Inventory
On the location QoH tab, double click on any location's item quantity to open specific details about that location's inventory.
Depending on the location set up you may see one tab or two tabs.
Item Perpetual Inventory tab shows the history of units being received and sent. Received units show with a transaction type of Receive. Sent units show in red with parentheses. A calendar dropdown in the lower left allows you to roll back the date.
The Warehouse Bin Information tab shows each bin that the item is Put Away into and the last time the item was recevied into that bin location.
On Hand Item Listing
A quick and useful tool for viewing items by Category, Location, or Quantity is On Hand Item listing.
Go to Inventory > On Hand Item Listing
Enter the minim quantity at which you want items returned in the list along with the location and vendor. Select Extended Category and Type if that kind of detail is wanted.
The resulting list will show the quantity in stock of all items that fit that criteria within that location.
