NEW FEATURES

Add VPN credentials

A newly-added employee can have a VPN login generated for them at the time of onboarding or after. Within the New Employee wizard, a checkbox exists to allow a VPN login to be created during the set up.

To read more about Creating A VPN User, updating login credentials, or removing a user, see the documentation here.

Group Holds/Layaways

Holds/Layaways created using Hold All can be displayed in Find Special Order as groups of items with the Date/Time as a header to each group. This makes it easier to see the item group if a customer has multiple groups of items on hold/layaway or if there are multiple customers represented in the Find Special Order screen results.

Action Required:
Company setting: Allow Put-All-On-Hold = True

Because this groups by the date/time the order is created, grouping functions best when put-all-on-hold is true.

If group hold/layaways is set to true, all items with an arrival date will group by customer by that date/time. This means items put on hold using “Hold All” will group into a collapsible item list with a separator above each change in date/time. This will make it easier to identify a group of items for a specific customer.

To read more about Grouped Layaways, see additional documentation here.

Location Attribute Management

Location Attribute Management allows attributes to be applied on the locations in the same way they are applied to items. This uses a separate Attribute Management form and the attributes themselves are applied within Store enter. As of the publish of 10.22, this functionality is primarily for API/APP visibility. Integration into online sites is intended to come later.

Action Required:

Company Setting: Is Location Attribute Management Enabled?

When set to true at the company level, a new form, called Manage Location Attributes, can be accessed on the Locations tab. There are three entry types: text, numeric, and enable/disable.

  • Text - Can be used as a descriptor of a service such as refurbishing or midnight events.
  • Numeric - Could be used to denote the quantity of dog wash stations or employment openings.
  • Enable/Disable - Could display a toggle of a service that was checked or unchecked depending on each location’s set up. The attribute could remain on the location and be toggled on or off as needed.

On the store center tab, within each location’s information, a tab called Location Attribute Values allows user to add attributes to a specific location. Within the pop-up, Numeric allows the entry of numbers with decimals if needed. Enable/Disable can be checked or unchecked.

Users who have the permission to edit details contained in Store Center, will also have access to create and apply attributes to locations.

Fiserv Logo

Fiserv, an additional payment processor, has been implemented for online and in-store sales.

  • Benefits:
    1. In-terminal tip feature on tippable items.
    2. In-terminal account lookup by phone number (by customer) will trigger Find Customer on the POS
      • Duplicate accounts by phone number will not interrupt sale but will trigger button for clerk to click and select from the accounts.
    3. Simple device integration.
      • Machine setting will alter which processor is utilized and which entry fields exist in machine Settings.
      • FS communicates by  terminal ID on network.
  • Integration:
    1. Direct Fiserv accounts are required.
    2. Let your account manager know if you would like to begin working with Fiserv.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Ability to Cancel part of an Amazon multi-item order
If one item is cancelled within an Amazon multi-item order, a warning will now pop up alerting that there are other items in the order. This is important because the Amazon basket for that customer is considered a single order by Amazon. Refunding one item in FieldStack can refund the entire order; even for shipped items. The correct way to do this is via the Amazon Seller Central page and adjust the order there. The action will mark the item as “Canceled” in marketplace center with the assumption that the item was refunded through the Amazon portal.

If the entire order needs to be cancelled/refunded, you will also be able to move forward and cancel the entire order. The cancellation reason will apply to all items in the order.

  • Transfer Item Button – Disabled on Picked/Batch completed orders
The Transfer Item button will now lock once an order has been picked and the batch is closed. Previously it would remain unlocked; clicking it had awkward/negative results.

  • Image updates using Find Image
Images added to FieldStack using Find Image previously didn’t always show up on the webstore depending on how the item or image was saved. Using find image will now save the image to the item and update the database of online image.

  • G Screen Sort Order
Items with variants will sort by Size & Style even when UPC column is included in the grid. UPC column has been moved the right.
  • Warehouse Split Labels – 2nd Row of Locations
Second row added for additional locations. Currently accepts at least 22 locations.
  • Disable Charge Button if Manual CC Entry has started
Charge button is disabled after manual entry has been completed and the manual charge is initiated.
  • Save Drawer Counts to Database even if show Variance is set to False
Previously, if Show Drawer variance was set to False, the clerk would not see the variance and would have to recount the drawer, but the system would also not save the original counts for future audits. This will now save to an audit table in the same way it does if the setting is true. This is not exposed in the FS Application but can be retrieved by Client Success if requested.

BUG FIXES

  • Company Name Duplication on packing slips - Company name will no longer print twice on packing slips. This was caused by company name/return address name duplication.
  • Hydra Search Vs. Find Item Advanced - If hydra search was set to True, Find Item (Advanced) search box did not bring back results. Now, if Hydra search is set to true on a device, this search box will function like the POS search and upper left search box as it had previously done.
  • Marketplace Pick List: Sort by Filing Location -Marketplace pick lists were not sorting by Filing Location (bin number) even if “Does Picking Batch report sort by filing location” was set to true. This has been updated and if setting is True, the report will print in numerical order of Filing Location (bin number).
  • G Screen Non-Location Suppression - Allocate minimum or manual entry previously allowed quantities to be pushed to ST2 or other non-locations. To overcome this, non-store locations have been suppressed in the grid and even if a non-store location has a forecast, allocate minimum will not push to the that excluded store location.
  • Double Refunded Points during online order cancellation - In rare circumstances, a customer who received a refund for an item could sometimes get double refunded points. Safeguards have been put in place to ensure this does not happen.
  • Find Customer - 7-Digit Phone Number Search - Customer search by phone number, where area code is not included, will correctly bring up associated customer accounts. Previously, using only 7 digits without any special characters, would not be recognized as a phone number and would not bring back customer results.
  • G Screen: Clear Existing split from Search Orders tab - Clear Existing Split was developed and functioning in Orders (Active) tab. If an order was searched in the Search Orders tab, the button was grayed-out and locked. This will now function in the same way from both tabs.
