New Features

  • Point of Sale Search Results can now be displayed in a grouped mode with filters. To see more on this, read the complete article here.
  • Ability to set the default order of stores in the tabs on the Item Listing Screen.
    This is a back-end setting in which FieldStack can alter your store list to show in various areas of FieldStack in the order that you may prefer, whether it is by location size, by region, or some other preferred order.  Contact support if you would like your store order to be altered.
  • Item Edit Screen is now Product Group aware.  Product Group is based on item Name. If item Name is the same, the system will consider them to be in a Product Group. It warns if a product edit is going to break a product group and shows you how many other items are in the product group.  
    If you edit the Name of an item in edit mode, either on purpose or unintentionally, a pop-up will alert you if the item will be moved out of the current Group of items with that same name. This is to assist with consistency.
    You can view all grouped items from edit screen as well.
    Right click and choose View Product Group or type [CTRL+ H] while an item is highlighted. This will bring up a new tab containing a list of all items with the same Name.

Improvements

  • Special Orders can now be sold from the special order search screen.  Previously the special order barcode needed to be scanned.
  • Improvement to Special Order deposits.  Deposit totals per item are now visible on special order search screen.
    Additional deposits can be added from special order search screen. More information on deposits exists here.
  • In Marketplace Customer service, when processing a return, today it defaults to resellable.  There is now a company setting that will allow this to be defaulted to not resellable. If you would like your default setting changed to "not resellable", contact Support.
  • On the Find Transaction screen "All Stores" is now an available option in the Store Name dropdown. This could be especially helpful if you were trying to look for a specific transaction type across a certain period of time across the entire chain. When displaying all stores, longer time spans will affect the display of results as the information being retrieved may be very large.


Bug Fixes

  • Sisense Widgets using embeded  input parameters within the body of the report were not working with the FieldStack/Sisense integration.  
  • Loyalty Program Purchase History did not automatically refresh after manually adding a bag in the Customer Edit area.

Refactoring

The following reports and areas were re-written to meet current standards and practices.  Little or minimal visual differences should be noticed. 

  • Login Process/Overall Backend - Changes were made to allow the FieldStack Application to connect to the FieldStack Engine either in a private cloud, like it is today, or on a public cloud infrastructure like Azure.
  • Inventory Loader
  • Forecast/Used Tab on Item Listing Screen
  • Order History Tab on Item Listing Screen
  • Offline Mode Triggering
  • Customized Zebra Price Labels
