Editing Customer Data Sharing Preference

In order to set permissions for the ability to edit customer data preferences, please contact FieldStack directly and let us know what level employee you would like to have these permissions. The ability to set customer data preferences will not be available until FieldStack is contacted to turn on the setting. 


For employees that have the ability to edit customer data preferences, this will be found in the "License and Additional" tab of the Customer Edit screen. 


A customer who's birth date shows them as under 18 will have the agreement box unchecked automatically, which will need to be manually checked.. They will need parental consent to have their data shared/sold. Advanced settings are available as well for once the customers birth date shows them as 18 or above.


Customers who's birth date shows them to be over the age of 18 will have this box checked automatically and would need to be manually unchecked at the customers request. 


Customers also have the ability to request their data or have their data deleted. The buttons Export and Delete customer data fulfill these functions. Once a customers data is deleted, they no longer exist within the business and any unshipped orders will go unfulfilled. Deleting customer data cannot be undone.
