With a rewards program, customers can earn points for their purchases and use them as an item discount. The amount of points earned and redeemed depends on the program configuration.
Types of programs include redeeming a free item, getting an item half off, or converting points to store credit after spending a certain amount.
Customer Points
After selecting a customer, their points total will display underneath their name.

Note: you can also see a customer's point totals in customer search.
If the customer is purchasing an item(s), and they have enough points to apply, their points will show as available. There will also be a points Total, which includes available points and any points earned in the current sale. If points are applied to an item, the available points and the total will update.

How to Redeem Customer Points
To redeem points on an item, click the Buyer Award button on the item in the POS.

This will apply the available points as a discount in the POS.

Note: the type of discount depends on the program (example: free item, half off)
How to Manage Customer Points
You can manually adjust customer points by editing the customer and opening the Adjust Points or Credit tab.
