Holds/Layaways created using Hold All can be displayed in the Find a Special Order form as groups of items with the date/time as a header to each group. This makes it easier to see the item group if a customer has multiple groups of items on hold/layaway or if there are multiple customers represented in the Find Special Order screen results.
- Action Required
Company setting: Allow Put-All-On-Hold = True
Because this groups by the date/time the order is created, grouping functions best when put-all-on-hold is true. - Action Required
Location Setting: Group Special Order by Arrival Date = TrueIf not set to true, no grouping will occur.
How It Works
If group hold/layaways is set to true, all items with an arrival date will group, by customer, by that date/time. This means items put on hold using Hold All will group into a collapsible item list with a separator above each change in date/time.
If no customer is on screen when accessing Find Special Order, tapping All Arrived in that form will show all items on hold/layaway and will group them:
If a customer is on screen during a session, tapping the Find Special Order button will display all the special orders/holds associated with that customer and will separate them by date/time:
If unarrived Special Orders are included in the view, they will appear on their own lines as they will most always be separated by some amount of time:
