FINGERPRINT READER LOGIN
From the start screen or transaction screen a Fingerprint scan will allow a Team Member to login without the use of the printed QR Code.
Assist and Assist & Exit buttons have been added to the Admin view on the Start Screen and Transaction Screen after Fingerprint login.
Assist applies the clerk to the sale thus recording that they have Assisted the customer at checkout and maintains Admin view so that they can help with additional things such as removing an item or executing a price override.
Assist & Exit will record them on the sale but exit admin mode allowing the customer to move forward with their transaction.
The Team Member assisting the customer will be recorded on the sale and this can be reported on.
IMPROVEMENTS
- On the Help Button, “Clerk” has been changed to “Team Member.”
- For manual entry items, "Enter Item Number" has been clarified to "Enter Barcode Number."
- Discount lines have been re-styled to green “Saved” indicator; the customer can no longer remove these line items.
- "Receipt Sent" text and Print Receipt button sizing have been improved for legibility and ease of use.

BUG FIXES
Phone Number prompt has been fully enabled. I fa customer enters a phone number that is not on an account or exists on duplicate accounts, a message will alert them, and a Team Member can assist using the FieldStack POS.
If credit card entry is cancelled, the system will no longer cause a one- or two-minute timeout. This will ensure that the customer can continue scanning items and checkout without going to another register.
After disabling Self-Checkout on a machine, the self-checkout “user” will be logged out and FieldStack POS will require a team member login. This ensures that the POS is not left in an open state and that Self-Checkout does not get applied to any subsequent POS transactions.
