Replacing lost or stolen card from FieldStack on Vimeo.Very often you will have customers who lose, misplace, damage, or destroy their loyalty account cards. There are also customers who never received a card when they opened an account or who have had their card stolen. It is often necessary to issue a new card, and thankfully this is possible.
If you are not in the middle of a transaction with the customer you can pull them up through the "Find Customer" button. Once you find them, you may select them and then select "Edit Customer" near the transaction total on the right side of the screen or you may select "Edit Customer" directly in the "Find Customer" window.
Once you are in the Customer Edit window, select "New Card" (Ctrl + N) at the top of the window. This will bring you to a screen containing two text boxes: the first one displaying their current card number and the second awaiting input for a new card.
At this point, all you have to do is grab a new card and scan it in just as you would when scanning a card for a transaction. This will populate the second text box with the new card number. Click "Save" and the new number is saved, making whatever card was originally linked to the account useless.
